About The Position

At Aptarro, we believe the best work happens when people feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive! Our culture is grounded in our A.R.R.O.W core values, which guide everything we do and keep us moving forward – together. We help healthcare providers get paid accurately and on time—without getting stuck in the complexity of billing, coding, and compliance. Our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions reduce denials, ensure compliance, and integrate seamlessly with EHRs, practice management, and hospital information systems—so providers can focus on what matters most: patient care. We help our customers make right easy—every day.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer in B2B SaaS or healthcare environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design and data visualization — ideally in operational or analytics-driven products
  • Demonstrated experience conducting user research independently — not just participating in it
  • Ability to move fluidly from concept to high-fidelity prototype
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineers and product managers in agile teams
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited design infrastructure
  • Willing to work as a 1099 Contractor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing healthcare, RCM, or clinical decision support products
  • Familiarity with denial management, claims workflows, or payer operations
  • Strong systems thinking — able to design individual screens with the full workflow in mind
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — can present and defend design decisions clearly

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end product experiences for complex denial prevention workflows — pattern review, rule recommendation, rule enablement, and outcome monitoring
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability with clinical and operational complexity
  • Plan and conduct user research independently — including interviews, usability testing, and feedback synthesis — to inform and validate design decisions
  • Design data visualizations that communicate denial patterns and actionable insights clearly to non-technical users
  • Work embedded with Product and Engineering to iteratively deliver and refine solutions
  • Translate ambiguous product requirements into user-centered designs with clear rationale
