Product Designer - Design Systems & UI
About The Position
CTG is seeking a Product Designer - Design Systems & UI for our client. This role is ideal for a senior-level product designer with strong visual/UI design skills, design systems experience, and advanced Figma expertise. The role is remote and has a duration of 4 months. The designer will create high-fidelity, production-ready UI designs for web and mobile applications, contribute to and expand established design systems, and build interactive Figma prototypes. They will apply responsive/adaptive design principles and WCAG 2.x accessibility standards, and collaborate with product managers, developers, researchers, and other stakeholders. The designer will incorporate feedback, user insights, and technical constraints into design solutions, and manage multiple design workstreams while adapting to shifting priorities.
Requirements
- Senior-level product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft, systems thinking, and component-level design.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and prototyping.
- Proven experience working within and contributing to design systems and component libraries.
- Strong high-fidelity UI design experience across web and/or mobile.
- Experience designing adaptive web and native mobile experiences.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.x accessibility standards.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

- Experience in Agile or product-driven environments.
- Experience using analytics or user research to inform design decisions.
- Usability testing experience.
- Knowledge of motion design and micro-interactions.
- Experience with enterprise-scale or complex product ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity, production-ready UI designs for web and mobile applications.
- Contribute to and expand established design systems, including components, variants, patterns, and documentation.
- Build interactive Figma prototypes demonstrating user flows, states, transitions, and interaction logic.
- Apply responsive/adaptive design principles and WCAG 2.x accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to refine designs.
- Incorporate feedback, user insights, and technical constraints into design solutions.
- Manage multiple design workstreams while adapting to shifting priorities.
