Product Design Lead

Urban Ridge Supplies•New York, NY
•$191,000 - $224,000

About The Position

Texture is building the operating system for the grid: a software layer for utilities, device manufacturers, grid operators, and consumers to manage and participate in distributed energy at scale. The Product Design Lead will be Texture’s first dedicated product designer and will shape design direction across an ecosystem of interconnected products and user experiences. The role spans operational dashboards and analytics, geographic maps and grid visualizations, enterprise tools for incident management and dispatch, consumer enrollment and onboarding, end-to-end service journeys, and real-time collaboration features. The work includes making data-dense interfaces clear and actionable, creating AI-native workflows that balance human judgment and automation, and developing simple-feeling consumer experiences despite technical complexity. The designer will own end-to-end product design, evolve a growing design system of more than 140 components, and work closely with product and engineering to prototype, make decisions, and ship high-quality work quickly. New York City is preferred, with flexibility for the right candidate.
