dcbel Inc. (www.dcbel.energy) designs and sells residential products to make clean, efficient, and sustainable energy accessible to all. The company is at the leading edge of the residential energy revolution, enabling decentralized energy consumption and production through its vertically integrated suite of energy hardware and software products. Their flagship product, dcbel Ara, is a Home Energy Station that allows users to manage their energy supply, charge EVs, and utilize their EV's battery for various functions like blackout protection and grid services. The company is looking to hire a Lead Product Design (UX/UI) to join their Product Team. This role is responsible for defining the end-to-end user experience, combining hands-on design with system-level ownership to ensure consistency, intuition, and reliability as the platform evolves. The position offers significant opportunities to drive direction, elevate design standards, and influence the overall user experience across the organization. This role is ideal for someone driven to bring clarity to complex systems and shape dependable daily experiences.

Requirements

8+ years of experience designing digital products.
At least 3 years of experience leading a team of designers.
Strong experience designing consumer-grade digital products where clarity and simplicity are essential.
Proven experience working across multiple touchpoints or product surfaces.
Experience leading a small team of designers to deliver coherent, development-ready assets in a fast-paced environment.
Experience contributing to or building design systems and scalable interaction patterns.
