Here, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something. As a Product Design Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing Engineering Development for our Mac Products. You will use your program management skills, imagination, creativity to lead these exciting programs forward! This individual contributor role will have significant responsibilities in making decisions, collaborating with multi-functional teams, vendors and suppliers around the globe during the entire development cycle.

Requirements

  • Mechanical background or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese languages
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Being flexible with domestic and international traveling
  • 3+ years of experience in consumer products and/or product development
  • Experience working with offshore manufacturers and conducting on-site supplier visits
  • Demonstrated experience driving complex projects forward by facilitating clear cross-functional communication and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage competing resources or timelines objectively, guiding teams toward agreed-upon solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on new product engineering validations from prototyping to production validation phases.
  • Establish and manage build material readiness, scheduling, critical path and risks on daily basis.
  • Develop and execute mitigation plans to protect build deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, including Product Design, Manufacturing Design, and Operations.
  • Drive enclosure, mechanical parts vendors and final assembly factories day-to-day activities to meet project objectives
  • Synthesize complex project information into clear action items and present them to diverse stakeholder groups to drive decision-making.
  • Navigate rapid development cycles and project ambiguities by addressing differing priorities, building consensus, and clearing blockers across global teams.
