About The Position
Conax Technologies designs and manufactures precision-engineered sensors and assemblies for aerospace, medical, and industrial applications. We are seeking a Product Design Engineer Intern to support new and existing product development from concept through production.
Requirements
- Senior undergraduate or graduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
- Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings
- Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Prior internship or advanced design project experience
- Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
Responsibilities
- Create and update 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
- Support design reviews, prototyping, and testing
- Assist with design for manufacturability (DFM) and documentation
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
