Requirements

Experience in product design and development of under-the-hood automotive components — small mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies are ideal
Hands-on background with plastic and metal parts design across components such as solenoid valves, PCV valves, filter boxes, and engine management sensors/systems
Proficiency with CAD tools for simulation, testing, and documentation
Experience in appliance or other related electro-mechanical component design may be considered
Candidates must be open to relocating to the Bartlesville, OK area

Responsibilities

Reverse engineer OEM under-the-hood components and translate findings into competitive automotive aftermarket products
Use CAD tools to simulate, test, develop, and document new products for engines and vehicles
Design plastic and metal parts for components including solenoid valves, PCV valves, filter boxes, and engine management sensors and systems
Participate in and lead cross-functional team efforts as needed throughout the product development cycle
