Founded in 2023, Tabs has raised over $91 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners , General Catalyst , and Primary . The team is headquartered in New York and brings deep expertise in finance and AI. About the role Tabs is hiring a people manager based in New York to lead the broadly-visible and highly-successful Product Delivery team. This team provides engineering services for high value customers who need bespoke implementations. This role is for someone who is looking to mentor early-career engineers and drive broad impact on the growth and success of Tabs. As the head of the Product Delivery team, you will attend meetings with the Sales and Solutions teams to determine which upcoming deals will need professional services. You will do headcount planning and allocate people to projects aligned with their interests and skills as well as the client’s needs and urgency. By conveying recent work to the marketing and product teams, you can help fuel our sales motion with customer success stories and our product development roadmap with specific feature requests. About the team The current team includes a handful of individual contributors and a tech lead in our New York office. It also includes a few outsourced contractors (Colombia, India, and Mexico) who execute on work delegated to them by the in-house teammates. This team works directly with our implementation and customer success teams to build bespoke solutions to our customers’ problems. Product Delivery requests new features from our product and engineering teams to support their efforts and provides early feedback on new releases. All of these teams sit near each other in our New York office. The team’s work is highly cross-functional and customer-facing. Work comes in from the solutions team during the sales cycle, is refined during implementation, and is completed before the customer goes live. The solutions are also maintained until the customer’s needs can be rolled into the core platform. Sample projects include supporting a third-party payments or tax vendor, an internal dashboard to track transactions across a bespoke workflow, and transformations between the customer’s data set and Tabs data formats.
