The Compression Systems Engineering Project Discipline Organization is looking for an experienced, leadership and people oriented, and highly motivated individual to be the Project Discipline Manager for a Military Development Program, reporting to the Compressions Systems Engineering Project Director. In this supervisory role for approximately 5-10 project engineers, your primary objectives will be to: Serve as a member of the CIPT Leadership Team. Promote technical excellence in support of the Engine Development Plan including ordering and delivery of hardware to support testing. This may include guiding and assisting the IPTs in resolving delivery issues and non-conformances of critical parts, technology advancement, manufacturability support including Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) progression, performing root cause investigations, and completing component qualification/validation activities. Support of RLPM incorporation across various teams. This includes responsibility for task execution accountability and enabling staffing strategies that fulfill the business and program needs. Guide the project teams in the execution of the Agile Project Management Framework, including the development of product owners and scrum masters. Provide oversite and approval of project standard work, outsource statements of work (SOWs), as well as acting as a project quorum member for design reviews. Develop talent and mentor your team for technical and career growth. This position may require up to 10% travel. This role is onsite in East Hartford, CT.
