About The Position

Bevi is seeking a Product Data Scientist to support its Beverage and Software product teams. This role will focus on measuring the impact of new flavors, building a recommendation engine for machine offerings, and owning analytics for Bevi's digital experiences and websites. The ideal candidate will partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate data into actionable insights and drive product development. Bevi is a leader in IoT-enabled beverage technology, aiming to reduce single-use bottle waste and is experiencing rapid growth.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in product analytics, digital analytics, or data science.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GA4 and tag management (e.g., GTM), including tracking implementation and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B testing and non-traditional/quasi-experimental methods).
  • Strong SQL and Python/R for querying, modeling, and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, Hex).
  • Experience using AI tools in workflow for tasks like exploratory analysis, code generation, and documentation.
  • Proactive, go-getter mindset with the ability to identify needs and drive work to completion independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own analytics for Bevi-proprietary digital experiences, including the UI and the Well, and consult with Software on tracking structure to inform the product roadmap.
  • Own tracking and analytics for Bevi.co and Partner.co, including GA4 and tag management, to inform the product roadmap.
  • Recommend analytics tools for web properties (e.g., session replay, self-serve data, testing, heatmaps) in partnership with Product.
  • Measure the incremental impact of new flavors using A/B testing and non-traditional methods.
  • Build the flavor recommendation engine to identify optimal flavor profiles per machine or cluster, considering constraints.
  • Translate data and analytics into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Build and drive adoption of clear, informative dashboards to democratize product data.
  • Partner with data engineering and software teams on data quality, tagging, and instrumentation.
