Product Data & Fitment Specialist

RANDYS WorldwideRiverside, CA
$85,000 - $100,000

About The Position

RANDYS Worldwide is seeking a Product Data & Fitment Specialist to enhance the completeness and accuracy of product data across its remanufacturing and driveline brands (Yukon Gear & Axle, USA Standard Gear, Zumbrota, ECGS, Adams Driveshaft, and NAPC). This role is crucial for ensuring customers can find the correct parts through ACES, PIES, and product-attribute data. The specialist will audit and improve product data, focusing on fitment, attributes, and descriptions, and establish standards to maintain data integrity as new products are introduced. This high-visibility position reports to the VP of Product Management and offers the opportunity to significantly impact the company's competitive advantage in product data within the automotive aftermarket industry.

Requirements

  • Direct, hands-on experience with automotive aftermarket product data standards (ACES and PIES), including Auto Care Association reference databases (VCdb, PCdb, PAdb, Qdb).
  • Experience working within ERP systems and with a Product Information Management (PIM) platform (e.g., PDM Automotive or comparable).
  • Experience building, validating, and maintaining vehicle fitment / application data.
  • Familiarity with the product-data requirements of major sales channels (e.g., Amazon, O'Reilly, RockAuto, AutoZone).
  • Advanced Excel and data-manipulation skills (large datasets, import templating, lookups, pivot tables) with strong data-auditing and validation habits.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for clean, accurate, and complete data.
  • Self-directed and highly organized, capable of managing a large backlog with minimal supervision.
  • Automotive knowledge or enthusiasm, including familiarity with parts, platforms, and vehicle fitment.
  • Ability to balance high-volume, repetitive data tasks with detailed content creation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, and Ecommerce teams.
  • Process-minded approach to building repeatable standards and durable solutions.
  • Takes ownership and pride in raising standards and achieving best-in-class results.

Responsibilities

  • Audit product data across remanufacturing and driveline brands, addressing missing ACES, PIES, and attribute fields (Items, Application, Attributes, Package, Pricing, Extended Information, Descriptions, Digital Assets, Custom Fields).
  • Manage a prioritized backlog to ensure each brand's catalog has complete, accurate, and submission-ready product data.
  • Source, template, and bulk-load structured product data from OE, supplier, and engineering references.
  • Create and enrich content-driven data, including product descriptions, attributes, and vehicle fitment/application coverage, adhering to channel and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain channel-specific product data for key sales channels (e.g., Amazon, O'Reilly, RockAuto, AutoZone) in collaboration with the Ecommerce team.
  • Expand vehicle fitment coverage (model-year expansion, new applications) using VCdb, PCdb, PAdb, and Vehicles-in-Operation (VIO) data.
  • Ensure timely data completion for new product (NPI) launches to prevent backlog accumulation.
  • Establish and maintain data-quality standards, audits, and validation routines to ensure best-in-class product data.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent product data within the company's PIM (PDM Automotive) and ERP systems and across all downstream sales channels.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and Ecommerce to resolve data gaps, standardize processes, and improve data quality.
  • Track and report progress on product-data completeness goals for the portfolio.
