About The Position

Zello is seeking a Product Data Analyst to join their Data & AI team in Austin. This role is crucial in guiding the future direction of Zello's product by translating data insights into actionable recommendations for development. The position is hands-on and heavily leverages AI, requiring the analyst to delve into data, formulate hypotheses, define telemetry for web and mobile applications, conduct experiments, and make critical decisions about product features. The goal is to utilize AI agents for routine tasks, allowing the analyst to focus on strategic thinking and impactful analysis.

Requirements

• Owned A/B tests end to end and can point to decisions that changed because of your work, not just dashboards you built.
• Write advanced SQL on your own against a cloud warehouse, and reach for Python when it helps.
• Have already reworked how you work around AI - handing routine analysis to agents and checking their output - and want to push that further.
• Pick the right method for the data in front of you instead of running the same test every time.
• Do not wait for perfect data. Build the analysis, pressure-test it, and bring a recommendation.
• Make work easier for the people around you. PMs and designers find you straightforward to work with.

Responsibilities

• Work with PMs, designers, and engineers to define product metrics, events, and what success looks like.
• Design and run A/B tests - scope the hypothesis, make sure it's powered, analyze it honestly, and recommend a call.
• Build funnel, retention, and cohort analysis on our mobile and web data with SQL and Python on Snowflake.
• Build and run AI-agent workflows that take the grunt work off your plate, and check what they hand back.
• Keep the core product dashboards in Omni current so the team isn't waiting on you for the basics.
• Turn the analysis into a clear story and a recommendation people can act on.
