About The Position
Tools for Humanity is seeking a Product Counsel to join its legal team and collaborate directly with product and engineering leaders on a rapidly scaling global platform. This role is positioned at the intersection of technology, policy, and product execution, providing advice on AI, biometrics, privacy, digital assets, consumer protection, and financial regulation. The Product Counsel will be a key legal partner throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring responsible feature launches, identifying and mitigating regulatory and safety risks, and developing scalable legal processes to support rapid innovation. This involves close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Policy, Marketing, and external advisors to draft terms and policies, guide go-to-market strategies, and shape legal frameworks across various jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product counsel experience in technology or financial services
- Working knowledge across areas such as AI, blockchain, privacy, biometrics, IP, consumer protection, or online safety
- Analytically strong
- Operationally minded
- Comfortable leading complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments
- Proactive legal partner who enjoys building alongside ambitious product teams and helping define entirely new categories
