About The Position

Birdy Grey is seeking a detail-oriented self-starter for an entry-level Product Coordinator role within their Product & Design team. This position will focus on supporting the color process and assisting the design team, ensuring the day-to-day administration of product development remains organized and on track. It's an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in apparel product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 1-3 years of experience in production, color, design, or product development
  • Genuine interest in color, fabric, and apparel design, with an eye for detail
  • Extremely organized and reliable; comfortable juggling several small tasks at once without letting things slip
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and willing to learn new tools (Airtable experience a plus, not required)
  • Excited about AI and actively leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to accelerate your own work and identify opportunities to embed AI-driven automation across operations
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data deep dives to surface actionable insights.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot and/or escalate issues effectively.
  • Hard working and willing to roll sleeves up - no job is too big or too small.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to lead projects.

Responsibilities

  • Track lab dips and strike-offs from vendors, logging them against approved color standards.
  • Organize and label physical color swatches and submissions for review.
  • Maintain a tracker of color approval status by style and fabric.
  • Update color approval status in the product data system (Airtable Product Master).
  • Prepare and organize reference materials, trims, and comp samples for design reviews.
  • Keep style and product records up to date as details are finalized.
  • Coordinate color requests with the Color Manager.
  • Take detailed notes in fit sessions and cross-functional PD meetings.
  • Organize shared trackers and files for samples, approvals, and open action items.
  • Update linesheets as needed.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative and studio support to the Design and Product teams.
