About The Position

Franklin Sports, Inc. is seeking a Product Coordinator for their growing product team, specifically within the Youthsports, Games and Toys department. This new position will support a fast-paced, high-volume department and primarily assist the Director of Product Management. The role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, offering exposure to a diverse product portfolio. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting product development administration, maintaining databases, managing sales samples, coordinating item setup, submitting artwork, and communicating with global supply chain partners. This role also supports sales initiatives, including preparation for key account presentations. The position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized, and structured individual with a strong understanding of data integrity, analytical skills, and excellent writing abilities. Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills are essential for working with various internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally with focus in marketing, product development, project management or other related discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management
  • Computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Monday.com) with the ability to learn new systems
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • High degree of customer orientation
  • Ability to follow up in a timely manner documentation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a support role within consumer products, preferably in the sporting goods industry

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the Product Manager in a variety of administrative functions
  • Support all aspects of product line development, including data creation, vendor communication, sample management, documentation, and database maintenance
  • Learn and manage internal systems (Art Tracker, Smart Track, PIM, Salsify) to ensure accuracy in reporting and data entry
  • Support sales presentations by coordinating product and packaging samples and assisting with presentation materials
  • Maintain, organize and properly store sample inventory within the warehouse
  • Participate in and support ongoing product development processes, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Assist with writing product descriptions and marketing copy
  • Coordinate across sales, forecasting, planning, and overseas vendors to ensure programs are executed accurately and on time
  • Other tasks as assigned
