About The Position

Product Chemistry is seeking a Product Chemistry Subject Matter Expert – Project Management to support global registration activities for crop protection chemicals and biological products. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and project oversight for product chemistry studies supporting registrations of active ingredients and plant protection products. You will define study strategies, coordinate execution across internal laboratories and external partners, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, regulatory‑compliant data. You will also serve as a key problem‑solver, addressing analytical or study‑related challenges as they arise. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, science‑driven environment, partnering with regulatory, analytical, manufacturing, and quality teams while continuing to build technical expertise and project leadership skills.

  • Degree discipline in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or a related science is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years relevant work experience with chromatography and analytical chemistry techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Product Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned projects, providing technical leadership on product chemistry requirements for global registrations.
  • Develop and manage product chemistry study strategies aligned to regulatory timelines, including studies for Technical Grade Active Ingredient (TGAI), formulations, metabolites, relevant impurities, and physical‑chemical properties.
  • Act as the project management lead for product chemistry deliverables, coordinating activities across laboratories, contract research organizations (CROs), and cross‑functional partners.
  • Track progress, manage timelines, and communicate risks, mitigation plans, and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve analytical and study‑related challenges, including method performance, data interpretation, or study execution issues.
  • Ensure all studies and data are generated and documented in compliance with global regulatory requirements, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
  • Partner closely with Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Project Management, Analytical labs, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply teams to support submissions and registrations.
  • Contribute to responses to regulatory authority questions, providing clear, scientifically sound explanations and supporting documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development within the Product Chemistry SME community.
