About The Position

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the senior team in delivering innovative solutions that deliver client objectives whilst meeting our business objectives and financial targets. We are looking for a Product, Business Analyst who brings strong expertise in business requirements, process documentation, stakeholder facilitation, and platform implementation support. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and product leadership, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and supporting the successful delivery of platform enhancements and implementations. This is a cross-functional role suited for someone who thrives in varied technical and business environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and is comfortable working across discovery, documentation, validation, and implementation readiness. At its core, the role is about thinking through how each capability should work, defining the business rules, logic, edge cases, and dependencies that turn product vision into clear, build-ready requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to ensure that stakeholder needs are clearly understood, documented, and carried through to delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in a cross-functional, technology-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, process maps, use cases, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams through requirements clarification, backlog refinement, sprint planning input, UAT, and implementation support.
  • Experience supporting software, platform, workflow, or internal tool implementations, including UAT, go-live readiness, training, and documentation.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, product leaders, engineers, operations teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes and stakeholder needs into clear, structured, actionable documentation.
  • Experience defining detailed application logic, business rules, and edge cases, and partnering with QA to align acceptance criteria with test coverage.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio, Miro, or equivalent.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document clearly and collaborate asynchronously in a remote-first team.

Nice To Haves

  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analyst certification.
  • Familiarity with data reporting, dashboards, analytics workflows, or operational reporting requirements.
  • Exposure to change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR.
  • Prior client-facing implementation or stakeholder-facing delivery experience.
  • Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying for requirements validation.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks or formats such as Cucumber or Gherkin.
  • Experience documenting workflows for platform operations, internal tools, or enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for platform implementations, enhancements, and operational workflows.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear user stories, process flows, use cases, business rules, and BRD/FRD documentation, defining how the application should behave across primary paths and edge cases.
  • Think through the detailed behavior of each capability, surfacing edge cases, exception paths, data conditions, and dependencies before work reaches development.
  • Maintain a living requirements repository with traceability from business need through requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, validation, and delivered solution.
  • Identify gaps between current platform capabilities and business requirements, and document well-reasoned options for stakeholder review.
  • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and validation sessions to confirm scope, business rules, workflows, and expected outcomes.
  • Work with the platform team to document workflows, configurations, dependencies, data inputs and outputs, and system behaviors as they evolve.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, complete, testable, and aligned to approved objectives before they enter delivery.
  • Create and maintain tickets, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria based on approved priorities.
  • Prepare stories and tickets for refinement by ensuring each carries sufficient business context, requirements detail, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
  • Provide requirements input into sprint planning so delivery teams have the clarity needed to estimate, sequence, and execute approved work.
  • Clarify open questions and resolve requirements ambiguity for product and engineering teams throughout delivery.
  • Track requirement changes, assumptions, risks, and dependencies across the delivery lifecycle, and surface open decisions and recommendations for resolution.
  • Identify recurring stakeholder pain points, process gaps, and documentation needs, and share them as structured inputs to inform roadmap and prioritization decisions.
  • Lead fit-gap analyses between platform capabilities and stakeholder-specific business processes.
  • Document current-state and future-state workflows, business rules, configuration needs, and stakeholder impacts.
  • Support configuration discussions by documenting requirements for fields, workflows, permissions, reporting, and data dependencies.
  • Develop training materials, process documentation, onboarding guides, and SOPs to support platform adoption and ongoing use.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the platform team, ensuring operational needs are accurately captured, documented, and communicated.
  • Surface risks, blockers, and unresolved questions early, and help coordinate resolution across stakeholders, product, and delivery teams.
  • Define acceptance criteria and business UAT scenarios from approved requirements and documented workflows, partnering with the QA engineer who owns the test plan, test cases, and execution.
  • Coordinate stakeholder UAT, capturing business feedback, gaps, and enhancement requests, and routing technical defects to QA and engineering.
  • Confirm from a business perspective that delivered functionality meets the documented requirements, expected workflows, and agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain UAT documentation, issue logs, sign-off materials, and go-live readiness checklists.
  • Capture post-release feedback on adoption, process impact, support trends, and documentation gaps, and share structured findings to inform future enhancements and process improvements.
