Come work with us at our 2100 Orchard Lane, Waco, TX facility. Apply today! As an Assembler you can expect to assemble large and heavy parts to complete units or subassemblies on machines. You will use hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment/ tooling on a regular basis. Reassembles or reworks units as required. Assemblers report defects and need for repairs on mobile equipment by following safety check procedures as needed. Perform daily housekeeping functions as required. Ability to follow safety procedures, Standard Work Instructions and work in a safe manner.

Requirements

  • 6 months of work experience
  • Basic computer experience is required
  • Must be capable and willing to learn the operation and basic care of mobile equipment such as forklifts

  • Parts/Product Assembly Manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical ability
  • Heavy equipment manufacturing experience
  • Overhead hoists and/or crane experience
  • Torque tool experience
  • Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/Knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) of Standard Assembly Tools and their applications
  • Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
  • Flexible mindset
  • Previous forklift experience

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished units according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Rework or repair units as required to meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report equipment defects or maintenance concerns.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and maintain an organized work area.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard work instructions.
  • Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives while working in a team-oriented environment.
