As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling large and heavy components to complete units and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will regularly use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks according to standard work instructions and quality requirements. You may also reassemble or rework units as needed to ensure products meet specifications. Additional responsibilities include identifying and reporting equipment defects, participating in safety inspections, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and supporting daily housekeeping activities. Successful candidates must be able to follow safety procedures, adhere to standard work processes, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • 6 months of work experience
  • Basic computer experience is required
  • Resumes are highly recommended; job history required to complete the application process.
  • Must be able to work mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed to support business needs.

  • Parts/Product Assembly Manufacturing experience
  • Mechanical ability
  • Heavy equipment manufacturing experience
  • Overhead hoists and/or crane experience
  • Torque tool experience
  • Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/Knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) of Standard Assembly Tools and their applications
  • Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
  • Flexible mindset

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished units according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Rework or repair units as required to meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report equipment defects or maintenance concerns.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and maintain an organized work area.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard work instructions.
  • Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives while working in a team-oriented environment.
