About The Position

As the Sr. Director, Product and Brand Management, you will shape the strategy, roadmap, and commercial success of Best Buy’s Exclusive Brands portfolio—positioning ExB to operate like a best-in-class vendor inside Best Buy. In this role, you’ll lead a global team responsible for defining product roadmaps that solve unmet customer needs, managing SKU strategy and lifecycle, and bringing products to market from concept through end of life. You’ll actively steward brand and commercial performance across pricing, marketing, promotions, and inventory to maximize ExB’s contribution to Best Buy while ensuring brand integrity, quality, and social responsibility are never compromised. What makes this role especially exciting is its scale and influence—you’ll drive differentiated products across multiple hardware and accessory categories, support broader Best Buy strategies (including digital services), and explore growth opportunities beyond traditional Best Buy channels in the U.S. and Canada. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in CE Product Development, Merchandizing, and Retail branding experience at a range of companies including major international product brands and CE retailers.
  • 10 years of experience in Organizational Leadership and people management
  • 5 years of experience in international business experience in product management, sourcing, and familiarity with product development principles
  • 5 years of experience with Brand Management and Portfolio management experience in a branded product company or a retailer

Responsibilities

  • Owns end-to-end performance of Best Buy Exclusive Brands, including P&L, product roadmaps, SKU strategy, and commercialization, while leading global cross ‑ functional teams to drive category revenue, margin growth, safety, quality, and brand adherence.
  • Defines product requirements and multi ‑ year roadmaps in partnership with engineering, category, and external partners to maximize global business opportunities across owned and licensed brands.
  • Leads brand strategy and go ‑ to ‑ market execution, ensuring consistent brand positioning, clear design and pricing guardrails, effective promotional strategies, and successful new product introductions across all channels.
  • Directs business planning, forecasting, and performance management across U.S., Canada, and external channels, continuously adjusting plans in partnership with category teams to optimize execution versus targets.
  • Builds and leads a high ‑ performing global organization, establishing structures and capabilities that enable Exclusive Brands to operate effectively as a vendor to Best Buy while advancing enterprise ‑ level initiatives and transformation efforts.
