About The Position

Every building needs a roof—and at Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), we deliver the innovative roofing systems trusted across North America. We're looking for a Product & Application Specialist to join our Global Business Development team and serve as a technical expert supporting customers, field teams, and new product initiatives. In this highly visible role, you'll provide hands-on technical support, product training, and application expertise for Carlisle roofing systems and equipment. You'll work directly with contractors, distributors, and internal teams to troubleshoot field issues, conduct job-site visits, deliver equipment start-up and operator training, and ensure customers are equipped to safely and successfully install our products. You'll also play an important role in product innovation by supporting cross-functional new product development through the Stage Gate process, contributing to product testing, documentation, commercialization, and customer education. As a trusted technical resource, you'll develop and deliver training programs for employees, customers, and channel partners while promoting installation best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, construction, or operating and maintaining roofing equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train customers, troubleshoot technical issues, and work collaboratively across sales, marketing, product management, and field service teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to one week per month and work in both office and rooftop field environments.
