About The Position

Databricks is looking for a motivated Manager to join our Strategy & Operations team to strengthen our product-focused planning and execution, provide strategic analysis, and instill operational thoughtfulness in our successful and fast-growing GTM teams. You will use data and qualitative information to help our Sales and Field Engineering Leadership manage the business with a specific focus on Platform health and adoption. This role will support our Genie and AI product lines. This includes serving as a strategic partner for VP-level GTM leaders, supporting essential aspects of our GTM design and annual planning process, building our data and analytics foundation (including executive reporting), and providing health of business reviews. You will work with our Field Engineering, Sales, Product, Finance, Data, Partnerships, and other GTM teams. You will report to the Director of FE Strategy and Ops.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategy & operations experience (eg. Enterprise SaaS experience, top tier strategy consulting, investment banking, business operations)
  • Leadership and confidence to support VP-level GTM stakeholders like you own the business
  • Ability and passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems, digging deeper to find root causes; unafraid to ask questions
  • Leverages cutting edge AI and data tools for analysis, problem solving, data visualization, and automation; continually learning and expanding skillset; familiarity with common GTM tech stack and tools (Databricks, SFDC, Tableau, SQL, etc)
  • You’ll be on the cutting edge of our Go-to-market engine, things won’t always be clean or easy. But you embrace that challenge and are excited to build for scale
  • Capable of going deep in analysis while elevating your findings and communication to exec level reporting
  • You recognize that Strategy and Ops is a customer-facing job; you prioritize your customer and their needs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner for both Sales and Field Engineering leadership
  • Lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables (e.g., board materials, QBR)
  • Provide operational visibility and performance tracking against targets (weekly reviews, async updates)
  • Generate deep dives into performance trends with/action-oriented outcomes
  • Spearhead GTM operations for new products and partnerships, providing reporting, insights, and recommendations
  • Drive necessary GTM changes to scale new initiatives, working with varying x-functional teams
  • Inform and enhance product roadmap with voice of the field and quantitative analysis
  • Improve GTM visibility into product roadmap and feature releases
  • Guide annual GTM planning process (FY and long-range modeling, KPI setting, HC planning)
