About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B) to support the Fabrication South Carolina Aerostructures (FSCA) Quality Team based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have extensive product inspection experience, problem-solving skills, and be process improvement driven. This role involves providing education and mentoring on the Quality Management System (QMS), and developing and managing relationships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners, and suppliers. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, fabrication or experience in a regulated industry
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Willing to work overtime when needed
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Quality, or an equivalent regulated industry.
  • 1+ years of experience in conducting Compliance, Root Cause Corrective Action
  • Knowledge of Standard work and how to write and maintain Standard work.
  • 787 Program Experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine product conformity inspections to design requirements
  • Performs complex part inspections on electrical, structural and or aircraft systems part assemblies
  • Provides objective evidence of inspection results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Support and provide oversight within the production system
  • Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.
