About The Position

The Producing Branch Manager will be responsible for delivering superior growth and profit by executing strategic plans and initiatives with Loan Officers. This role involves achieving production goals through personal production, effective leadership, recruiting, retention, coaching, and conducting sales calls with Loan Officers. The manager will drive sales of mortgage loans by leading, communicating, and executing on a strategic plan that includes superior relationship management of internal and external business partners. They will also implement and administer new products or programs, including sales promotion and incentive programs, encouraging staff participation to stimulate new growth. Monitoring the quality of loans to ensure they are at appropriate rates, amounts, and terms that comply with program guidelines is also a key aspect of the role. The position requires setting annual goals with measurements for assigned employees, creating and implementing development plans, completing performance appraisals by deadlines, and holding employees accountable for performance and behavior. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience
  • 5+ years of mortgage industry experience or experience in the financial services field
  • Professional and effective verbal and written communications
  • High degree of detail orientation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with MS Office

  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable of local real estate market conditions, mortgage product and process trends, and competitive position.
  • Provide feedback and solutions, as needed or requested, regarding mortgage lending delivery capabilities.
  • Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, SAR, CTR, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, EEO, and fair employment practices.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
