About The Position
CNBC is looking for an experienced Producer to be responsible for creating, producing, and supervising segments for the show, Mad Money. In this role, you will be an integral part of covering the most significant financial news stories of the day.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of Editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment, ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change
- Strong understanding of the markets and prior experience at a financial news network
- Experience working with anchors & senior management on shows and across departments.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the editorial vision of the show each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show
- Write and produce segments
- Work closely with EP, Sr. Producer & Anchor on top level bookings
- Manage relationship with key guests & contributors
- Ability to work with desk & across departments on show logistics & segment execution
- Become involved in planning process
- Be in control room for live broadcast
