About The Position

IllFonic is looking for a contract Associate Producer to own the production process for the Single Player portion of a new game project. Responsibilities include monitoring outsource development, identifying and removing roadblocks, and proactively communicating risks and issues. The job requires persistence, patience, and discipline. Experience working with outsource developers in a different time zone strongly preferred. About the Company Founded in 2007, IllFonic is an independent video game developer and publisher with studios in Lakewood, Colorado and Tacoma, Washington. Our staff is composed of video game, music, and technology veterans redefining how indie and middle-market games are made and marketed. Current and past titles / collaborations include Halloween: The Game, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Arcadegeddon, Predator: Hunting Grounds, Friday the 13th: The Game, Dead Alliance, Star Citizen, Evolve, Armored Warfare, and Nexuiz.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years in a Production Role
  • 1+ shipped titles
  • Experience managing a Single Player game mode
  • Experience working with outsource teams in different time zones
  • Experience on both PC and Console
  • Experience with the following software: JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite, MS Project, Google Suite
  • Strict use of code names and complete confidentiality of project information is required
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Good people skills
  • Fast learner
  • Resourceful
  • Analytical thinker

  • Experience with Horror games
  • Deep knowledge of / experience with the Horror genre
  • Chinese language skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor progress on Single Player development
  • Schedule and attend meetings with outsource developers, with significant time zone differences
  • Identify, track down, and solve issues that are blocking the outsource development team
  • Identify areas of risk and proactively communicate them
  • Create and monitor tasks for Single Player content/cutscenes in Jira
  • Coordinate with the internal production team on cross-discipline features
  • Keep internal documentation up to date
  • Accurately communicate the status of the mode up within the organization
  • Champion the quality of the Single Player mode during development
  • Personally play the Single Player mode and provide feedback
  • Personally test the Single Player mode and identify issues
  • Coordinate QA and Localization related to the Single Player mode
