About The Position

Epic Games is seeking a Game Producer to join their Rocket League team. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working in a production role, managing cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex projects.
• Deep understanding of game development, software development processes, and project management practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Experience in an environment requiring daily problem-solving skills, viewing each new problem as an opportunity for success.
• Ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders, within the team and throughout the company.
• Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles, balancing short-term needs and long-term vision.
• Ability to adapt and be effective in ambiguous situations within a highly dynamic environment.
• Passionate, solutions-focused, and innovative.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development operations by working on development pods, ensuring timely delivery to meet goals, deadlines, and milestones.
• Schedule relevant meetings, facilitate reviews, and capture/drive action items and next steps for the team(s).
• Build and facilitate the schedule by scoping and scheduling desired work, maintaining project plans, schedules, and roadmaps, and considering dependencies across multiple development teams.
• Proactively identify problems and propose solutions for the team before they become roadblocks, owning the outcome of their area.
• Handle multiple large production needs within development pods, identifying and breaking down priorities, and maintaining strong communication across various channels.
• Provide transparency on project status and risks to stakeholders, communicating frequently with the production team and project leads on status, risks, and opportunities.
• Support all production needs for the team, including planning, scheduling, task tracking, and bug triage.
