About The Position

This role involves creating, analyzing, and evaluating producer compliance and compensation transactions and processes for various products including Employee Benefits, Individual Disability Insurance, Annuities, and Retirement Plans. The specialist will review and approve contracting applications, ensuring accurate and timely processing of producer compensation across multiple systems. Additionally, they will act as a key resource for producer compliance and compensation administration, as well as process improvements.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
0-4 years of related work experience with emphasis in contracts, accounting, customer service, and/or insurance, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Ability to calculate complicated commission arrangements using mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to work with MS Outlook and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or specialized coursework and/or training in insurance or risk management preferred.
Insurance background PREFERRED
FLMI, ACS preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the initial point of entry for all producer licensing and compensation information.
Submit requests to management for exceptions to contract applications and/or commission structures that do not meet set qualifications.
Respond to and identify the right course of action or resources for a wide variety of customer service needs via the 800 line and email alias.
Work effectively with internal and external customers through negotiation, communication, and problem resolution regarding producer compliance issues and compensation program administration.
Responsible for cross-training existing staff and onboarding new employees.
Participate in special projects, assignments, and process improvements.
