About The Position

ESPN Cleveland, which includes brands like ESPN 850 WKNR, The Land on Demand, the ESPN App, ESPN.com, ESPN+, ESPNCleveland.com, and Cleveland Browns Radio Network, is looking for a part-time Producer to join their team. This role involves working with hosts on content planning and execution, supporting talent with show production and log fulfillment, collaborating with other producers on content sharing, working with marketing/promotions on contests and sponsorships, and assisting engineers with FCC compliance.

Requirements

• Skill in running a radio board – maintaining levels, smoothly transitioning from one source to another
• Aptitude in editing software, such as Goldwave, Pro Tools and Adobe Audition for production purposes
• Hold a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Work with host(s) on content plan & execution
• Support talent on show production and log fulfillment
• Collaborate with other show producers on the sharing of news, ideas, & audio
• Work in conjunction with marketing/promotions on contesting & sponsorships
• Assist engineers on ensuring the station is operating within FCC guidelines
• Create and implement production elements including bumpers, liners, audio drops, sound effects, etc.
• Assist in creation and ideation of show segment and production elements
• Source potential contributors and interviewees
• Post about the show(s) on social media, including bulletins and links
• Edit audio cuts and entire hours for The Land on Demand
• Contribute to, and make use of, archives of audio files and sources for content segments
• Respond to audience feedback, referring to other departments as necessary
