As a Producer & Editor, you will be responsible for building and managing the content engine that supports Alex Lieberman's (Cofounder of Tenex & Morning Brew) public voice across various platforms including YouTube, short-form video, X, LinkedIn, and others. You will work directly with him to schedule, produce, edit, and distribute all content. The role involves end-to-end production management for long-form YouTube videos, short-form clips, and written content in Alex's voice. Key operational responsibilities include booking guests, coordinating calendars, managing equipment and the set, and maintaining the production schedule. A significant aspect of the role is to innovate and redefine what an AI-native content function looks like, leveraging cutting-edge AI models, tools, and workflows to enhance creator leverage. You will also serve as a creative partner, shaping how Alex's voice is presented globally and ensuring his time is used effectively. This is a high-ownership position for an experienced operator with strong production and editing skills, motivated by building a content machine within a rapidly growing company.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience producing and editing content for a creator, founder, executive, or media brand.
  • Proven experience owning a content pipeline end-to-end.
  • A strong portfolio of long-form video work, demonstrating production and editing skills from raw footage to finished product.
  • Proficiency in short-form content creation, including cutting hooks and publishing for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
  • Writing ability to draft content in another person's voice; experience ghostwriting for a public figure is a plus.
  • Operational discipline, including experience managing production calendars, booking guests, wrangling gear, and adhering to schedules.
  • Deep understanding and active use of frontier AI tools in daily work, with knowledge of recent developments and their impact on content creation.
  • Experience building AI-native workflows that have produced tangible output.
  • Exceptional taste and judgment in differentiating polished content from engaging content.
  • High ownership mentality and low ego, willing to work extended hours and operate without a predefined playbook.

  • Experience producing content for a founder, creator, or executive whose personal brand drives commercial outcomes.
  • Understanding that content must achieve business objectives, not just aesthetic quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own the YouTube engine end-to-end, including pre-production, shoot logistics, editing, thumbnails, and publishing for long-form videos.
  • Build the short-form pipeline by cutting long-form footage into Reels, TikToks, and Shorts, writing hooks and captions, and publishing across channels.
  • Draft written content in Alex’s voice, including X threads, LinkedIn posts, and newsletter pieces.
  • Run production logistics, such as booking guests, coordinating calendars, managing gear and the set, and owning the production calendar.
  • Reimagine the content stack as AI-native by identifying, testing, and integrating new AI models and tools for editing, transcription, ideation, voice/avatar generation, and distribution.
  • Drive the rhythm of the content engine by establishing cadences, dashboards, and reviews to track progress, identify successes, and inform future content.
  • Build the foundation for future scaling by evolving systems, tools, and potentially a team to increase content output without compromising the established voice.
