About The Position

Stauffers of Kissel Hill is hiring a part-time Produce Team Member at its Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods location. The role requires day availability between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m., with flexible weekend availability. The hourly wage is $14.00. On-the-job training and leadership classes are provided, and the company promotes team members from within.

Requirements

Availability for day shifts between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Flexible weekend availability.
Able to lift 25–50 pounds.
If operating equipment, must be over 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Pack fruit baskets as needed.
Replenish ice in display cases where applicable.
Clean department areas, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases, and keep products and supplies organized.
Operate equipment when needed, if over 18 years of age.
Operate the price scale, maintain knowledge of current prices, and price merchandise or change price tags using the price list and coordinating with the scan department.
Prepare and promote department samples.
Receive, open, and unpack merchandise cartons and crates; check invoices against items received; and promptly clear restocking equipment and debris from the floor.
Prepare, package, and rotate products according to departmental guidelines.
Set up and sign merchandise displays to attract customers and promote sales.
Take and process customer orders according to customer requests, ensuring products are ready on time.
Take inventory or examine merchandise regularly to identify items that need reordering or replenishment.
