Requirements

Previous produce department work experience is preferred.
Knowledge of general farm produce or similar experience.
Available to work on weekends and holidays or rotating schedules.
Ability to communicate effectively to customers and team members.
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and other company policies.
Requires proper training and knowledge of equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Display products with proper signage and merchandising, showcasing quality and freshness to drive sales.
Unload and break down deliveries, refill products to meet customer needs, and rotate for freshness.
Cut, trim, pack, weigh, and label produce products for sale.
Handle expired and recalled products properly, maintaining accurate logs.
Stock, ship, and distribute product items to production teams using the First-In First-Out (FIFO) method.
Monitor cooler/freezer temperature to ensure company standards and regulations are followed.
Clean walk-in coolers, display cases, scales, and counters according to company policy.
Complete production process, quality control, and other techniques to maximize effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Keep aisles and common walking areas clean and clear of obstructions.
Answer customer questions regarding seasonal product lines and assist customers in locating products.
Conduct monthly inventory counts with team members.
Perform other duties as needed for business needs.
