About The Position

As a Produce Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our produce department, ensuring quality, freshness, and customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail produce and strong customer service techniques.
- Verbal proficiency in English.
- Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, squat, bend, and lift/carry boxes up to 70 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including produce coolers and wet racks.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee produce department workflows; manage inventory, pricing, and product placement.
- Coordinate training, manage schedules, and provide leadership to team members.
- Monitor product freshness, remove spoilage, and maintain cleanliness.
- Review sales and labor metrics; implement strategies to meet department goals.
- Create attractive produce displays and execute product placement strategies.
- Step into staff roles as needed, including opening, closing, and covering shifts.
