About The Position

Schnucks is seeking a Produce Clerk to provide friendly and courteous service to customers. This role involves stocking, rotating, and maintaining product quality, as well as adhering to company safety and sanitation procedures. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

• Previous produce experience
• 18 years or older
• Regular, reliable attendance
• Able to work in a cold, damp environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Manager approval based on performance (if invited for an interview)

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Stock, rotate and straighten product
• Water and ice down various products
• Wash trim, and wrap product
• Remove any product not meeting company quality standards
• Read and understand department signs
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
