About The Position

This role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, stocking, rotating, and maintaining product freshness, and adhering to company safety and sanitation procedures. The position requires regular, reliable attendance and may involve other duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
• Bending
• Stooping
• Able to work in a cold, damp environment
• Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Internal Candidates: Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Internal Candidates: Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• Internal Candidates: If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Water and ice down various products
• Wash, trim, and wrap product
• Remove any product not meeting company quality standards
• Read and understand department signs
• Follow company safety and sanitation procedures
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
