About The Position

This role focuses on providing excellent customer service within the produce department of a grocery store. The Produce Clerk is responsible for ensuring the quality and freshness of all produce items, creating attractive displays, and contributing to an overall positive shopping experience for customers. The position involves handling produce with care, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with inventory and stocking.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Providing friendly and helpful customer service.
• Maintaining the quality and freshness of produce through proper handling, storage, and rotation.
• Creating and maintaining attractive and visually appealing produce displays.
• Stocking and replenishing produce items.
• Culling and discarding spoiled or damaged produce.
• Ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness of the produce area.
• Assisting with receiving and unloading produce deliveries.
• Pricing and labeling produce items accurately.
• Following all safety and sanitation procedures.
