About The Position

This role is offering about 20 hours per week. This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of produce clerk to include the following: DUTIES: • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers • Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. • Stock, rotate and straighten product • Water and ice down various products • Wash trim, and wrap product • Remove any product not meeting company quality standards • Read and understand department signs • Follow company safety and sanitation procedures • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management TRAINING Training will be provided at store level.

Requirements

Candidates MUST be available between 1pm-9pm and weekends to be considered.
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Bending
Stooping
Able to work in a cold, damp environment
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (Internal Candidates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline) (Internal Candidates)
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance (Internal Candidates)
