About The Position

Bristol Farms is seeking a Produce Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide extraordinary customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role involves stocking shelves, preparing produce, and engaging with customers to create an exceptional shopping experience. Requirements

• Ability to know the various types of produce, where they come from, how they grow, how they are prepared, and their life span.
• Ability to understand and use scales.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; talk to hear; and taste or smell.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Stocks shelves in the produce department
• Washes, cuts, peels, wraps, and prepares fruit for stocking.
• Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
• Builds business by maintaining excellent customer service and creating repeat business.
• Acknowledges and/or greets customers within the first 15 seconds of the customer’s arrival.
• Greets and/or acknowledges customers while waiting at a counter, or as they are passed on the sales floor.
• Fully executes the “Seven Points to Extraordinary Service” at all times.
