About The Position

Lunardi’s Markets is seeking warm and friendly individuals for the Produce Clerk position. The position involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring the quality and freshness of produce, and maintaining department appearance. On-the-job training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
Cut and package fresh fruit and vegetables following food safety and sanitation standards.
Ensure the freshness and quality of product upon delivery and restocking.
Monitor and maintain proper rotation of all fresh produce.
Update and maintain product signage and department appearance.
Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
Work with various equipment and tools throughout your shift such as box cutters, knives, trash compactors, cardboard balers, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
Protect the safety of oneself, co-workers, and customers at all times, and reports safety-related accidents and incidents to management immediately.
