About The Position
The Produce Associate is responsible for ensuring the produce section is well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets high quality standards. This role involves direct customer interaction, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and managing inventory.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked with fresh produce throughout the day.
- Refill produce as necessary and rotate items based on sell-by dates.
- Inspect produce for quality and freshness.
- Remove damaged, expired, or unappealing items to maintain high standards.
- Assist customers with locating items, providing information about products, and answering any produce-related questions.
- Offer excellent customer service at all times.
- Arrange produce displays to be visually appealing and easy to navigate.
- Ensure signage and pricing are accurate and visible.
- Keep the produce section clean and organized, ensuring that the work area is free of debris.
- Maintain cleanliness standards for shelves, tables, and floors.
- Assist in receiving and organizing incoming produce shipments.
- Properly store items in the backroom or cooler to preserve freshness.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling, cleanliness, and proper storage of produce items.
- Perform other duties as required.
