About The Position

This is an entry-level position. Under close, direct supervision of material management specialists, this position assists in performing administrative and fundamental procurement assignments, material shipment tracing, and expediting activities with vendors, if necessary.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, or global equivalent, and no required previous years of work-related experience
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Nice To Haves

Previous Fluor Internship Preferred
Reasonably good interpersonal and communication skills
Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs

Responsibilities

Maintain material management logs and input material management commitment-related information into databases (such as approved material management reference system, SAP, etc.)
Organize and maintain files
Review technical packages received from Engineering; ensure correct documents are processed according to prescribed methods
May be required to update approved material management reference system for buyers
Issue weekly/monthly reports, as assigned
Maintain Cash Flow reports
Other duties as assigned
