About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Systems Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and be able to work independently to identify and solve complex business problems. The Purchasing Systems Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, developing insights into problems and opportunities, and communicating recommendations to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position will be based in Phoenix AZ, Boise ID, Manila.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical background in SQL, Python, Alteryx, and JavaScript

Nice To Haves

• Experience in data science/analytics is a plus

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion
• Influence stakeholders to support business projects
• Identify specific business opportunities and ways to capitalize on them
• Write Python and Alteryx scripts to automate data processing tasks
• Work with tools like Oracle, Corrigo (CMMS), Snowflake and Google Big Query to extract and analyze data.
• Create Power BI visualization tools to aid corporate and division leadership in decision making.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based web applications
• Be able to pivot quickly and adapt to changing priorities
