About The Position

We are looking for a Procurement Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team. As the Procurement Supervisor, you will be responsible for integrating SodaStream business needs into relevant procurement strategies in alignment with HQ Global procurement. You will work closely with global procurement teams. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend in scope on a region level, utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies. A key part of this role will be monitoring the success of procurement activities and understanding the impact towards local business goals while regularly reviewing our procurement approach to drive continuous improvement. As the procurement manager you will be responsible for establishing strong working relationships with key business partners, quickly understanding main priorities, implementing global procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, liaising with stakeholders, optimizing costs and mitigating risks.

Requirements

  • University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain or other related degree
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of procurement experience
  • Packaging for distribution and shipment experience
  • Logistics procurement knowledge
  • Experience working in global and multi-cultural organization
  • Able to effectively engage cross functional global teams
  • Ability to add value in key business unit meetings and influence top management
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization

  • Familiarity with 3PL activity

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and prioritize the procurement activities and engage with cross functional business partners to deliver against strategies
  • Understand and translate strategies and priorities into requirements ensuring that the information is provided to all levels of leadership
  • Integrate the needs of the business into procurement strategies considering market evolution and specificities
  • Work on various procurement areas/services with focus on logistics category using best sourcing strategies
  • Negotiate, examine, evaluate, and challenge both new and existing contracts with vendors to achieve cost reduction and remain in compliance with business requirements
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services per company policy
  • Lead procurement activities directly for locally managed spend for our Canadian operation
  • Implement global procurement policy, governance, and controls according to Global Procurement guidelines
  • Direct source to pay responsibility: In charge of the whole process from internal needs understanding, through definition and implementation of the right procurement strategy for the scope and running of sourcing events, leading negotiations, contracting as well as contract approval cycles and signing
  • Drive change and implement global/regional initiatives at market level
