Responsible for the procurement of equipment, supplies, services, and vendor contracts in compliance with government, center, and corporate policy. This role involves preparing purchase orders, supporting documentation for Contracting Officers, reviewing and administering contracts, and preparing specifications/bids. The specialist will also solicit bids and quotations, establish and maintain records of procurement actions, and adhere to subcontracting plans, promoting purchases from minority and small businesses.
