About The Position

ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist at ARETUM, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes and ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies. Requirements

  • Master's Degree preferably in the fields of finance or accounting
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience required
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities at once
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communications and teamwork skills
  • Must be an exceptional writer
  • Enjoys a team-oriented environment, but able to function independently
  • Takes ownership of projects and can prioritize assignments
  • Ability/Willingness to Travel to Washington, DC occasionally
  • Eligibility to receive DHS suitability required. Current DHS Suitability preferred
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency’s background investigation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document requirements analyses
  • Coordinate with business owners to draft procurement request documentation, including statements of work or performance work statements and IGCEs
  • Conduct and document alternatives analyses as well as market research
  • Conduct and document procurement risk assessments
  • Prepare and implement procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with appropriate guidelines
  • Develop Capital Planning and Investment Control documentation and manage the Capital Planning and Investment Control Process in accordance with OMB Circular A-11 as well as applicable DHS instructions
