About The Position

SI-BONE is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for managing purchase orders, reviewing material requirements, and supporting production planning. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in procurement operations. The Procurement Specialist must act and conduct company business in an honest, ethical and lawful manner, consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct, other company policies and the AdvaMed Code of Conduct and/or any other applicable industry code(s) of conduct. The company does not tolerate retaliation in connection with making good faith reports of suspected violations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Requires 1-3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain operations
  • Knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971) as required to perform the job function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task
  • Time management skills are critical to success
  • Must work well with minimal supervision
  • Candidates must reside in the SF Bay Area.

Nice To Haves

  • QAD experience is a plus
  • PowerBI experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders, including updating delivery dates and ensuring accuracy.
  • Conducting Material Requirements Planning reviews to ensure supply meets demand.
  • Performing accurate and timely data entry related to procurement and inventory.
  • Reviewing open orders and suggesting pull-in or pull-out actions based on supply chain needs.
  • Maintain and develop item master within the ERP system
  • Create and manage Work Orders for production and inventory planning.
  • Analyze part inventory and support new build and supply planning
  • Tracking and reporting on procurement metrics.
  • Analyzing part inventory and supporting new build work order planning.
  • Perform purchase to forecast comparisons to ensure alignment between procurement and demand.
  • Aid in Identifying potential supply risks and inventory exposures
  • Maintain reports including forecast, open order, work order (WO), engineering change notice (ECN), inventory, accuracy, and other reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
