About The Position

The Procurement Specialist supports the execution of the North American material inventory policy across multiple manufacturing locations. This role is responsible for ensuring material supply continuity through effective MRP analytics, purchase order execution, and proactive risk mitigation. The position provides cross-functional support to identify and address material risks, helping to protect business attainment and adherence metrics. This position is based in Florenceville Main Office with a hybrid work model and mandatory in-office days.

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, TMS, and Power BI is an asset
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to McCain plants and supplier locations

Responsibilities

  • Execute material inventory policy using MRP analytics and purchase order management aligned with inventory targets
  • Monitor and manage inbound material risks through defined processes to mitigate impact on attainment and adherence
  • Support escalation and resolution of material supply risks and disruptions
  • Partner with Procurement S&OE Lead to provide real-time visibility into material risks
  • Ensure accuracy of material attainment and adherence reporting for assigned manufacturing locations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, planning, sales, and marketing
  • Maintain accountability for performance deliverables within assigned sites
  • Manage Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) processes to ensure vendor accountability and compliance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain processes
