About The Position

Responsible for stocking in cars for new, preowned and dealer trades. Processes bills for vehicle purchases, posts to the general ledger vehicle purchases, and verifies that payments are processed for vehicle purchases and transfers. Maintains CSI at or above Company standards, maintains an organized, clean and safe work area, participates in required training, records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system, follows Safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrates the Company’s Core Values, and complies with Company policies and procedures. Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Accounting experience in a high volume environment desired.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to learn the Dealership Management System, Spreadsheet software, accounting software, and inventory software.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with company personnel.
  • The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
