About The Position

Turner & Townsend are looking for a Procurement Consultant to support a large-scale Data Center construction project. The ideal candidate has great communication skills and leadership skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of applicable experience.
Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Programming experience such as SQL, VBA, or Python is required.
Prior people management experience.
Proficiency in data engineering, including an ability to work closely with subject matter experts.
Detail oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
Passion for creating innovative approaches to solve abstract business problems.
Ability to infer realistic business and supply chain implications from data and model results.
Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in Data Center construction preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinating requests for quotes with manufacturers
Executing quotes in conjunction with stakeholders
OSP Shortage Mitigation: Managing risks and constraints in the OSP supply chain.
Logistics Oversight: Resolving critical, real-time onsite delivery queries.
Financial Controls: Conducting regular cost variance and budget checks.
Issue Resolution: Tracking kick-off bugs and driving PCG/TEC resolutions.
EMEA/APAC Deployment: Overseeing the ongoing regional OFCI implementation.
Vendor Alignment: Leading strategic syncs with key manufacturers.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
