About The Position

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist III to lead procurement activities for complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects supporting power generation, renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), data centers, substations, transmission, and industrial infrastructure. This senior-level procurement professional is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, contract administration, procurement planning, and project execution support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant procurement experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, contract administration, or purchasing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting industrial construction, energy, utility, manufacturing, or EPC projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as required for supplier meetings, fabrication facility visits, project site support, supplier audits, and industry events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience procuring engineered equipment, fabricated materials, and subcontracted services preferred.
  • Experience supporting power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data center, transmission, substation, or industrial infrastructure projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities from project award through closeout.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for major equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
  • Manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, contracts, and change orders.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, commercial terms, and supplier agreements.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and Project Management teams to support project execution.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Track procurement schedules, long-lead equipment, and material deliveries to support project timelines.
  • Support cost control efforts through strategic sourcing, budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis.
  • Resolve commercial and contractual issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, supplier quality, and procurement best practices.
